The Brazilian Keratin Hair Treatment - My experience
By Danna Schneider
When it comes to hair, I have done just about everything. I permed it, straightened it, color it, she said, it teases, it curled, braided, and saying just about every way imaginable (except that I've never been very short). So it's not shocking that I decided to make one of the most recent hair care - hair Brazilian Keratin treatment.
What is the Brazilian Keratin treatment, you ask? Well, this is a smoothing process and recovery that you can help with your hair is virtually maintenance free and frizz free. It is ideal for those who have hair that tends to be frizzy and responds poorly to moisture, like mine, and it gives a lot of added sparkle to your hair, it shows much healthier.
This treatment can last from 3-5 months depending on how often you shampoo your hair, because, little by little, the treatment may leave the nature of hair, if you are a person who is not very shampoing often, May you be so lucky. The cost of this procedure, which lasts about two hours to two hours more often, depending on the length of your hair, is an average of about $ 150 per hour.
This means that your total bill is between $ 300 and $ 400 for the process, you'll need to buy a special shampoo for him, which typically takes about $ 35 for a large bottle of so that when it is all said and done, with the tip and shampoo, you're probably looking at close to $ 500 a bill, give or take a little. My bill was about $ 485, and I have long hair. The process took 2 hours and a half for me, and it was not bad at all.
I have had thermal reconditioning done before too (also known as the Japanese recovery), and this process took about five hours together and cost a little more. It is supposed to last longer if, and if your hair is poker directly in May that not be in everyone because it lacks body for some time.
It also has a very distinct smell in the process, while the Brazilian Keratin treatment, I had, which was the mark of Coppola (there are several on the market) has no odor during this process. I noticed a dull smell for three days following treatment, but it is not so bad.
Let's talk about this process and my experience now, and my review of what I think about it. I arrived at 3:30 am at the show. The technician told me about what to expect, looked at my hair, it can assess the state of my hair and it is the texture, and told me I would love my hair when it was made . It brought me to a shampoo chair where she washed my hair with a clarifying shampoo to make it more porous so that the product can penetrate the hair deeper.
When my hair was squeaky clean (literally grin, I thought this nightmare would be if I had to move right, then dry and I'm sure it looks like a giant bales of hay on the head) it took me to the chair style, where she blew it dry thoroughly. She then mixed and concoction of Brazil and back, pinning my hair into sections and paint the mixture with a brush until it is completely saturated.
She then set a timer for twenty minutes, and I sat there and read a magazine (and almost asleep, I might add). She came back after twenty minutes and was taken to me the shampoo chair, where she rinsed the product. I do not know if there was a neutralizer or any other type of solution added to my hair at that time, I was too relaxed to notice much of anything since my hair is always makes me a zombie .
I noticed that I do not have a strong smell of chemicals throughout this time, which was nice for me, after I had many treatments, the Japanese recovery, cold smoothing, and coloring hair, which smelled very strong. He did not make my scalp burn or itch at all. I do not know if it's just because of the brand or what they use, but that gave me a good impression about the safety or her. Now we were down to the wire.
I went to see the results of this processing miracle at last! She blew my hair again, and then separated into sections and iron began to dish one by one, from root to tip. She warned me that my hair looks very flat for the next three days, almost like it was plastered to my head, but I already used to this because the same thing happened with thermal reconditioning.
She also indicated that it was very important that I did not wet my hair or washing for the next 72 hours, which is three days. I was not allowed to sweat, so there would be no work or heavy cardio for the next three days, either. I was warning against any kind of hair clips or link my hair, and not even get my hair behind my ears, because the dry form is very malleable, while the product is held during the next two days .
When she was flat ironing, I could not believe how shiny my hair looked. Plus it was right - very simple! Almost too simple, but I knew it would not be exactly how it would be right all the time. The hair itself looks great, but I admit I had problems to do with myself all the way to reset my body hair. The next three days were torture. In fact, it rained for three days in a row, much to my chagrin.
But I made sure I had my umbrella handy with me anytime and I used it a little during these three days! The hardest part was not having any moisture on it, as you do not realize how difficult it is to do when you are near water. You still have to take a shower, so I wore a shower cap and just hope that it will take every drop of water. He has worked very well except that I know a few small drops, it has on it when I took my head.
My hair looked really good when I left the show, however, the flatness is really difficult for me to manage. And it seemed a little dull and even flatter the next day. However, I knew that once I'm washed, it would be much better. Thus, the third day finally, and I washed my hair with my special sodium laurel sulfate free shampoo. In addition, the sodium is what happens on the hair faster, so you can not use products with ingredients sodium, may be in them.
I blew it dry. Wow, he did look pretty amazing. It has not been fully poker right when I made the thermal reconditioning, but it is shiny, frizz free, and has a very healthy look to it and felt silky to the touch. I must say that I like better than the result of thermal reconditioning, just because I can still have a little vague on this issue. I hope it lasts as long, but hey, you can not have everything I suppose!
So my review of the Brazilian keratin hair treatment. I recommend it to anyone who wants hair is easier to manage with less maintenance, and anyone who wants to tame frizz and eliminate some of the curls of hair, especially during the summer months, we traitors here , Ohio, where the humidity reached ridiculous levels.
