Life in the big hair 80's

When I think about 80 of my thinking "BIG". Of the 80 years all the major bands big hair, big earrings and big shoulder pads. Dress and hair was higher than that seen elsewhere.

I'm still in high school in the mid to late 80, s and also my husband, but we grew up in different countries. I grew up in New Jersey and raise in Kentucky. Of course, the two countries and have been very different in all ways. I think in many ways, New Jersey is the incarnation of this decade. In the club, on the balcony on the beach, the mall, Jersey girl can be seen with that big hair and big earrings.

After visiting a few times, Kentucky during the last decade, at least in the hair department, they seem to have with us. The women in my husband's family have long hair, but they all seem more at tight perms, at least more than my friends and family in New Jersey.

I can not imagine how I must have used hairspray, maybe at least one box per week. Today, if I wanted to go to the same view, I'm not sure I need to know how. Although I obviously have oversized hair and earrings and wore cosmetics section, I tend Preppie in the closet.

Prom and back is the time to really go in depth. The dresses were all the colors of the rainbow. Dye shoes can be very popular because you obviously need shoes with your outfit. If you must wear either a very real chance that you'll need real shoes dyed to match.

There are so many hobbies, parachute pant, stirrup pants and leggings are some interesting choices. Sweat shirt, oversized and out of the shoulder. Leg warmers the other great 80s fashion trend, although personally I have never in it. My eldest daughter dressed like a girl 80's for Halloween and called the clothes "vintage". It's hard to believe that the things I wore in high school now considered "vintage". Can you imagine?

The shoe is an integral part of the declaration of the decade each mode and this is certainly the case in the 80s. I think every girl I knew had a pair of white shoes. Flats Were big, often decorated with a bow and is available in various colors. My brother had a pair of Dr. Martens that he was permanently and many years later they are still in very good condition and really not too different form the Dr Martens today. Ked and Chuck Taylor is the subject of many cabinets and a fantastic core color comes so you can always find what you like. For people BCBG, Penny's shoes are a must. Surely someone who grew up at that time also remember really economic Jelly sandals.

80's will always bring back good memories for me, with all the big hair, fashion and the band. Even if I think that we saw 80 girls vintage, it is time really great!
